Texas-based Boy Scouts of America is changing its name in time for its 115th birthday to Scouting America as it pushes towards inclusion amid wavering membership numbers. The organization, which has long been steeped in tradition, has made seismic changes after decades of turmoil, from finally allowing gay youth to welcoming girls throughout its ranks. The announcement came at its annual meeting in Florida, on the fifth anniversary of welcoming girls into Cub Scouting.

Hilary Duff has announced the arrival of her fourth child, a daughter named Townes Meadow Bair. The Disney Channel alum, 36, and her husband Matthew Koma welcomed Townes on May 3. Townes is their third child together and Hilary's fourth overall. Friends of a pastor's wife who shot herself dead after claiming she was being abused by her husband have insisted she did not take her own life. Mica Miller, 30, was found dead at Lumbee River State Park, North Carolina, on April 27, weeks after speaking about abuse within her marriage to John-Paul Miller, 44. Her friends Kenn and Allicia Young insisted on NewsNation that Mica did not take her own life. Allicia Young, who is a member of the Solid Rock Church alongside her husband Kenn, said 'I absolutely do not believe that she took her own life.' The allegations come as it is revealed Horry County Police Department officer Nick D'Amocamtonio filed an incident report on March 11 which said: 'The victim advised me she was afraid for her life.'

Mercedes Sandhu, 34, of Texas, gave birth to identical quadruplets, a one-in-five-million chance and a major surprise for her third pregnancy. The babies were born healthy and are in the hospital receiving nutrition through a feeding tube and breathing with the help of a CPAP machine. Giving birth to four identical babies without the help of fertility medicine is extremely rare. There are only about 72 documented cases ever.

U.S. News and World Report released its list of the top 10 'Best States' for 2024 - but the results may infuriate readers. The results were based on the average of three years of data from recent national surveys that asked nearly 70,000 people total to prioritize subjects such as public safety, crime and more in their home state. Some categories were assigned more value than others. Health care and education were weighted most heavily, followed by state economies, infrastructure, and opportunity.

NEOM, which is behind the project and is the brainchild of ruler Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, claims the 106-mile metropolis will 'redefine liveability' and 'transform how we live​'. But critics have said the grand plan is unfeasible, with a Bloomberg report last month suggesting it's length will be reduced by 98 per cent to just one-and-a-half miles and will be home to just 300,000 people by 2030, rather than 1.5 million. Renderings suggest that the metropolis will be encased in two long mirrored skyscrapers which reflect the sky, surrounding desert and water, giving the illusion of invisibility. So when a cruise ship sails towards its concealed entrance, it appears to vanish from a certain angle, with little explanation available as to what purpose the futuristic marina would serve or how it will be accessed.

Prince Harry will not meet his father King Charles III during his trip to Britain because of the monarch's 'full programme', but insisted that he 'hopes to see him soon'. The Duke of Sussex arrived in Britain alone today after flying in from California for a ceremony marking the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games in London tomorrow. Ahead of the service, Harry visited Armoury House this afternoon for an Invictus Games discussion called 'Realising a Global Community' hosted by Louise Minchin . The Prince had hoped to meet his estranged father the King during his trip, which follows a previous quick visit in February after Charles's cancer diagnosis. But his spokesman said today: 'In response to the many inquiries and continued speculation on whether or not The Duke will meet with his father while in the UK this week, it unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty's full programme. The Duke of course is understanding of his father's diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon.' Harry is understood to have various Invictus Games commitments today, according to ITV. Tomorrow, he is set to give a reading at a service of thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral marking a decade since the inaugural competition in London in 2014.

Lauren Lee and Cassie Aran, of Florida, set about making the drive from Jacksonville to Key West in Freddo's 'Rocket' convertible model, branded as the 'world's fastest' two-seat toy cars - with Lauren riding a blue version, and Cassie in a red one.
