Dashcam footage from the truck was played in court on Wednesday as the pickup driver Trevor Branham, 33, appeared in court after being charged. In the footage, the pickup truck can be seen swerving out of its lane to avoid hitting a car that had stalled, before crashing into Thomas.

Chris Pratt's Guardians of the Galaxy stuntman has died aged just 47.  Tony McFarr passed away Monday at his home outside Orlando, Florida. His family say they are yet to learn how he died, but Farr's mom Donna told TMZ his passing was 'unexpected and shocking.'

Omar Bin Omran vanished during the decade-long Algerian civil war of 1998, leading his family to assume that he was killed in the conflict. The Hamilton family only learned Alastair had taken his life at the clinic after police examined his bank account statements and found that he had transferred thousands of pounds to Pegasos. The clinic initially refused to speak to them about his remains, saying it was 'against our lawyer's recommendations'. Eventually the family received his ashes in the post - two months after he died. Before he left for the last time, Mrs Hamilton told ITV her son 'put his arms around me and gave me a big kiss, and just said, 'Always remember Mum that I love you very much, I always have, I always will, no matter what'.
